My spouse, Sam, plus I have amazing tasks! Sam plus I met in university plus attached instantly because of our mutual heart for medicine.
Sam was about five years ahead of me in school, but it certainly worked out perfect because my pal and I ended up graduating the same year.
After graduating university, my spouse had to complete her training to get her medical license. Once she was finished, Sam decided she wanted to travel the globe using her skills to help those who might otherwise never be treated. We have “lived” in over nine different countries now, plus it has been more amazing than I could have ever dreamed my life would be. We have helped thousands of people across the world, plus I can’t thank God enough for this amazing opportunity. It’s not easy work, plus my pal and I often don’t have the nice facilities to labor in as my pal and I would in the States. One of the things I miss the most is air conditioner. Most of the countries my pal and I have worked in thus far have had either tropical uneven temperatures or just down right hot uneven temperatures! Most of the buildings my pal and I have worked in haven’t had air conditioner, but the building my pal and I are in now actual does! We are beyond thankful for the couple cooling systems that my pal and I have plus so are our patients. Many of our patients don’t have electricity or running water in their homes let alone air conditioner, so it’s always neat to see their reactions to the hospital having AC. In the end, Sam plus I love what my pal and I do plus the people that my pal and I get to serve, but it is always nice to have little first world blessings here plus there like an air conditioned hospital.
