For her birthday this year, we got our mom a new HVAC system and she is loving it.
She has been needing to get a new HVAC system for her house for a long time now, but she just keeps putting it off for some reason.
I guess she just wanted to spend her money on other things. However, my brother and my sister and I keep noticing how terrible the indoor air quality at her house is whenever we go over there to visit. It’s just always stuffy and the temperature is never quite what it should be. It seems like there is something wrong with both her heating system in the winter and with the cooling system in the summer. That’s why we decided that for her 60th birthday, we were going to do something about it. The three of us decided to pitch in together and purchase a high quality heating and cooling system for her house. We even paid to have it installed by her local heating and cooling company. When my mom realized what was going on, she was really excited about it. She told us that she had really been wanting to get a new HVAC system herself but she did not want to spend the money for it. When she realized that the three of us had paid for her to get a new one, she was so happy that she almost cried. I am really glad that we decided to do this for her instead of sending her on a cruise the way that we had talked about!
