This is my final article, and I’m going to do some yoga while listening to my Spanish podcast.
- After yoga, I’ll listen to another 45 minutes of the podcast before going to see a friend who lives just down the street.
Then I’ll walk three minutes to the beach and take a walk with my neighbor and his cat. This neighborhood appeals to me because you can bike or walk everywhere and save a lot of money by not owning a car. A car requires a variety of services, including a/c recharging, new tires, and oil changes, to name a few. When you add in the car payment and all of the other costs each month, I estimate that my car in the United States cost me around $690 per month. I now have natural climate control as I ride my bike around the neighborhood, and the hot sun above provides some enjoyable heating in the winter. It doesn’t get extremely cold here because my friend and I live in a more temperate climate zone, and we don’t have to worry about things like snow or extremely hot summers. Our summer season lasts about two months, and my friend and I only need air conditioning for one of those months, the rest of the time relying on ceiling fans and small cooling devices. I like where I live and want to spend the rest of my life in this small neighborhood, having a good time and relaxing. I wish you the best of luck, as well as home climate control.
