Recently, I was asked to travel to another city for my job.
The reason for the trip was to train a new staff member at another location.
I was blissful that my company had provided me this chance to expand my work. My company paid for my hotel room plus gave me a yearly allowance for food. The hotel was nice plus the first night, the a/c worked really well. I was able to set the fan to constantly run which I appreciate to sleep. The white noise puts me to sleep quickly plus I stay asleep longer with the a/c fan running all night. I was well rested for my first afternoon of training for my company. I was blissful that I slept well because I was working for 12 hours straight. I was sleepy when I returned to my hotel room that night. I was really unhappy when I went to turn on the a/c. I found that the power button to turn the unit on was no longer working. I tried to unplug the unit plus plug it back in, but I had no luck. I was too tired to go down to the front desk to ask for a new room for the night. Instead, I slept that night with no a/c. I was so tired that it didn’t even matter that I was not able to use the a/c. The only problem I had was when I woke up, I was dripping with sweat. I never reported the broken a/c to the hotel.
