A ductless AC suits a backyard office

When I was packing my things to move back in with my parents, a part of me felt really low.

The fact that I was moving backwards made me feel like a failure.

But, my dad is the sort of person who says everything happens for a reason. He was there with mom busy taking boxes from my apartment. When I lost my job, my parents were the first people I called with the bad news. They asked if I was comfortable staying in the apartment as I looked for another job. But, that was a scary time during the pandemic, so I told them I wasn’t. About 3 days later, I told the landlord I’d be moving out, and he was so understanding. Mom and dad drove 2 hours to get me, and that’s how I ended up living at home. It has been almost 2 years, and frankly, I’m happy my dad insisted on this move. It took time for me to get over my blues, but once I did, I began doing virtual assistant gigs online. Soon after, I had several clients that I needed a quiet place to work. Dad refurbished a small storage space out the back of the house into a functional office, and I paid for a ductless AC. It’s costly to try and extend the ductwork from the house to my small office, so we chose against using the central HVAC. Instead, a HVAC professional suggested I get a ductless AC that would suit my small office. Now, I’m so happy with that decision, especially during the hot summer months.
