The lodge was nonrefundable though, so my great friend and I decided to go and my great friend and I packed a bunch of hot clothes and blankets.
When a bunch of my friends and I decided to go stay in a lodge in the mountains, I was delighted! I hadn’t been on a girls trip in ages, so the thought of spending quality time with all of my best people under one roof brought me a lot of happiness. Thankfully, someone else was in charge of booking the lodge and all I needed to do was bring some snack food! The girl who booked the lodge sent us all a link to the rental so my great friend and I could get enthusiastic for where my great friend and I were staying. However, in my quick scan of the rental agreement, I observed that it said there was no central heat or air. I immediately fired off a text to the rest of the ground and questioned the lack of heat. They were calling for snow during our time there and the thought of being separate from heat was dreadful. The lodge was nonrefundable though, so my great friend and I decided to go and my great friend and I packed a bunch of hot clothes and blankets. When my great friend and I arrived though, the owner’s guide said that there was heat and air available, it was just via a ductless mini split system. Technically, it wasn’t central heat and air, however it was heat! All of the girls and I were so thankful for this! There were many ductless mini split units throughout the lodge and my great friend and I were surprised by how well they heated each area. We were perfectly hot and cozy during our girls trip despite the lack of central heat and air.
