I do not know if my mom will ever learn her lesson when it comes to trying to help my Grandma.
My Grandma is a particularly demanding plus entitled woman who expects her children to wait on her hand plus foot.
This is despite the fact that her children are grown plus have their own families to deal with, but she still thinks almost everyone should drop whatever they are doing plus run over at the slightest hint of trouble. My mom plus aunts are glad to comply, however then they get trapped at her house for hours as my needy Grandma puts him through the wringer. Recently, my mom made the mistake of going over to try to help my Grandma with her thermostat. She called in a panic plus insisted that her a/c device wasn’t working that day. She said the cooling system has been working fine the afternoon before, however when she woke up that day there was no cool air flowing from her air vents. She inspected the thermostat in the hallway however it appeared like everything should be running as normal. Rather than calling a professional HVAC serviceman out, she called up my mom plus ask her to come look at her a/c unit. My mom has honestly no idea how to repair a cooling system. She took one look at the a/c plus told my Grandma that they should go out to dinner. Well they were at dinner, my mom secretly snuck away plus called a local HVAC business. She gave them the address plus asked them to go out plus repair the AC. By the time my mom plus Grandma return to the house, the cooling system was up plus running again. My Grandma never knew that a real professional had stopped by to perform this component repair, plus my mom got to go home.
