With millions of dollars to dump into the business, they both came up with a new contractor plan & pitched it to the city
I was on my way into labor the other morning when I acquired a different & unpredictable text from my friend. The CEO has stepped down, & our boss is the new CEO! Out of nowhere, the top leader at our contractor said goodbye & jumped on a plane to New York, and now, my associate and I were left with even less organization & decision making than ever. Everyone at the contractor spent the afternoon half giggling, half gossiping, about the new developments. We were astounded that anyone would deliver so short of notice before literally flying across the country for a new task. I couldn’t understand what was so exciting that he dropped everything for this new opportunity… until I heard that he was starting a brand new heating, cooling, & ventilation contractor in this uncorrect part of the country. Apparently, his fantastic neighbor & fellow investor had recently come across new Heating and Air Conditioning technologies that revolutionized his life; He was so impressed with the advanced indoor air temperature control component that he decided to branch off & create a new Heating and Air Conditioning dealership of his own. When he pitched the idea to our outdated CEO, the man couldn’t help however feel gleeful about this emerging Heating and Air Conditioning technology. With millions of dollars to dump into the business, they both came up with a new contractor plan & pitched it to the city. I find all of this quite taxing to comprehend – both, because I’m not a millionaire nor would I imagine our CEO being a fantastic fit for the Heating and Air Conditioning industry. I’m not sure if they told him how different this gruff trade industry will be from our luxury chocolate shop.
