I was on my way into work the other day when I gained a strange and unpredictable text from my friend.
- The CEO has stepped down, and our boss is the new CEO… Out of nowhere, the top leader at our supplier said goodbye and jumped on a plane to NY, but now, my friend and I were left with even less organization and decision making than ever.
Everyone at the supplier spent the afternoon half giggling, half gossiping, about the new developments. My pal and I were astounded that anyone would supply so short of notice before literally flying across the country for a new job. I could not understand what was so exciting that he dropped everything for this new opportunity… until I heard that he was starting a brand new heating, cooling, and ventilation supplier in this unusual part of the country. Apparently, his relaxing buddy and fellow investor had recently come across new Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C technologies that revolutionized his life, but he was so impressed with the advanced indoor air temperature control component that he decided to branch off and create a new Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C dealership of his own. When he pitched the idea to our old CEO, the person couldn’t help however feel happy about this emerging Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C technology. With millions of dollars to dump into the corporation, they both came up with a new supplier plan and pitched it to the city. I find all of this quite difficult to comprehend – both, because I’m not a millionaire nor would I imagine our CEO being a relaxing fit for the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C industry. I’m not sure if they told him how weird this gruff trade industry will be from our luxury chocolate shop.
