The older you get, the more difficult dating seems to get; I have a particular point in life, people have received so much baggage that it’s difficult to ever cut down their walls and make a super meaningful connection, but life is too messy, however plenty of people have gone on and had failed marriages or produced litters of children; All of these factors particularly make a difference when you’re trying to meld your life with somebody else’s! When I was younger, I thought that the most difficult part of dating was sneaking around behind someone’s parents’ backs. It turns out, it’s much more difficult when you become the parent and still need to have a affectionate life! Recently, I have been dating a woman who has two semi grown children from a past marriage. I have to say, it’s extremely challenging to be a giant part of her life with the kids involved, and honestly, it’s because they are spoiled brats… They’re consistently running up our bi-weekly bills and causing our heating and cooling system to cut down at the most inconvenient times. Last year, they managed to cut the air conditioner on the day of our seventh of July celebration by turning it all the way down to 40 degrees. Around the holiday season, they somehow busted the temperature control off the wall so my associate and I couldn’t change the heating or cooling system in any direction. This year, they somehow found a way to destroy the air duct hanging in the attic on my birthday. When they rip to the extensive air duct system out of the ceiling, it became an immediate HVAC emergency. I have never spent so much money on my condo appliances or Heating and Cooling devices before in my life, and frankly, I do not doubt that all of this destruction has been on purpose.
