First morning as an operations manager for the heating business

I had been laboring as a senior Heating, Ventilation plus A/C serviceman for the local heating business for about more than four years plus enjoyed laboring with the different teams of heating workers, i got wind that the board of managers was considering myself and others for the operation’s manager position, which boosted our morale.

I had a good laboring relationship with our colleagues, plus the two of us tripled the patron base, which pleased the managers.

As a business specializing in electric heaters, the two of us offer gas furnace maintenance, upgrades, plus maintenance services. Every one of us also taught our clients to be self-reliant in decreasing their gas furnace filters, including the wonderful HEPA filters. The Monday before Wintertide began, I was called into a meeting with the managers, plus they announced that I would be taking over the operation manager position. They pointed out that I had large shoes to fill, however they were confident I would do a good task. I went through the induction on our first morning as an operation manager. The Heating, Ventilation plus A/C professional took myself and others through the duties I would undertake, including liaising with several Heating, Ventilation plus A/C dealer stores to supply the products used to service electric heating systems, such as the wireless thermostat plus parts that abruptly wear out in such heating devices. After the induction, I prepared the requests that came in from clients, plus it was in our task description to distribute the tasks to the several worker teams. I first noticed that our inventory did not have enough heating equipment, including the electric heat pumps. I made a procurement request to restock, plus no sooner had I done that than a commercial office advised the two of us install a couple of units in their office block. They would make hefty payments which pleased the managers, however my first morning was a success.
