Occasionally as Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professionals, all of us find ourselves involved in significant family matters; Last week, a family called requesting that all of us attend to the gas furnace repair of their electric heater, and the wife was planning a secret surprise party for her husband’s anniversary party and needed wonderful indoor comfort against the ongoing winter.
That month the weatherman had announced a snowstorm that would last a couple of days.
The wife needed to ensure their heating component was working perfectly. Apart from the annual tune-up, the wireless temperature control had been acting up even after changing the batteries. The two of us got there a little after the husband left for work. The two of us started by assessing the gas furnace to asparticular if worn-out parts needed replacement. The two of us got a heat exchanger that was worn out and rusted, plus the filters needed replacement as they were congested up by dirt and pet dander from our modern cat. The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C supplier was efficient enough to give the equipment, including the HEPA filters, as soon as possible. The wife was not keen on changing the electric heat pump’s filters and did not mind calling for assistance from the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C serviceman. The two of us arranged to have the filters replaced after every various weeks in Winter time and yearly in summer. Fortunately, the heating component did not need a lot of work, and all of us were done within a couple of hours. The wife was satisfied about the repair from our heating servicemans and the improved indoor comfort of the newly worked on electric gas furnace. As is customary for the heating business, I called the wife the following morning to confirm whether the component was still optimally functioning, but she gladly informed myself and others that the party was a success. The guests enjoyed the quality of indoor comfort.
