After talking to Grandfather, I knew I had a lot to learn about Heating, Ventilation and A/C.
I thought it was just heating, ventilation plus air conditioner, however it was so much more than that.
Air conditioning was 1 of the most crucial tasks for people to have when in a submarine or a ship; Since you couldn’t get fresh air into the cottages or in the bowels of the ship you had to have someone keeping the air cleaner running. There had to be a way to circulate the air throughout the entire ship or submarine plus keep the air fresh as it circulated. The Heating, Ventilation and A/C professional was given special classes so they could make sure this was always happening. They had to guess how to isolate certain rooms if there was a problem plus how to keep the hot plus cold temperatures evenly regulated… When in a submarine or ship, there were always going to be area that were colder because they were further under water, plus you needed to be aware fo this. He said it wasn’t just learning how to maintenance an Heating, Ventilation and A/C system, however you had to guess how it worked plus why it worked the way it did. I was always decreasing our mind about what task I wanted to do as an Heating, Ventilation and A/C professional. I was telling our friends about Grandfather plus Jake told me he sounded cool, however what did that have to do with our being an Heating, Ventilation and A/C professional. I told him I had recently signed up to go into the Navy. I wanted to be a Naval Heating, Ventilation and A/C professional.
