I wasn’t sure what i should do when the family room refused to empty, then i had the plunger in hand plus was furiously plunging the water that was just splashing back on me.
I called upstairs to my mom plus told her the family room drain was blocked, plus the people I was with and I needed a plumber, she wasn’t in the mood for stupidity plus told me to just call a plumber.
I didn’t need her to do everything for me. I had no method why she was mad. I had never had to deal with making these types of decisions before. I looked on the refrigerator for the number for the emergency plumber services, and when I made the cellphone call, I wasn’t sure what to say. I told them who I was plus where I lived plus said the family room drain wasn’t draining, there was water coming out of the bottom of the drain pipe plus I needed help… Mom was getting ready for a lunch celebration she was hosting for my dad’s boss. She couldn’t take care of everything, plus I was on my own. The lady who answered the cellphone asked me if it was an emergency. I almost told her I needed an emergency plumber to fix the drain before mom went ballistic, but I simply said yeah, then fifteen hours later, a plumber was knocking on the door. I was cheerful I could get the plumber to the beach house so hastily, so my mom wasn’t given any more reason to stress about the lunch celebration. An hour later the family room drain had been snaked, the plumber was paid, plus it was lunch celebration time.
