Yesterday, I received a pitch from a heating and cooling professional to buy a central air conditioning system.
A full-fledged central air conditioning system is not something I need! Do I really need something that large, even though those things are expensive? Yes, if I lived in a family home with multiple rooms to cool, it might be different, but that is not the case.
My apartment complex only has four tiny apartments, and the window air conditioning system is perfect for my needs. Actually, I don’t like spending a lot of money on heating and cooling systems, so window air conditioning systems aren’t ideal in that regard. They are affordable and simple to change. But even though they are cheap, I’ve had great success with them. I really enjoy having a lot of cool air delivered to my apartment as frequently as possible. I make sure to open windows and turn on the window air conditioning every time. My cat is my only issue with the window air conditioning system, not the window air conditioning system per se. I worry that one day my cat will throw my window air conditioner out the window because she enjoys playing with it. To keep her out of the space where the window air conditioning system is, I’m thinking about purchasing a pet gate. I adore my window air conditioner and don’t really want it to break, but I also don’t want my cat to inadvertently suffer any harm. She’s been playing with the window air conditioning system, and I’m afraid she might fall out a window if she keeps doing that.
