While we were waiting for the HVAC technician the other day, I had to send my kids outside because they were driving me crazy.
Sometimes they just get into these moods when they just want to fight with each other and nothing else. I guess it is just like a fun pastime for them, but it drives me absolutely nuts. I cannot stand all of the picking and yelling that they do with each other and it just makes you want to send them away. Anyway, the other day the air conditioning was torn up at our house and it was getting pretty hot inside. We live in a warmer climate and we use our air conditioning a lot, even now when it’s not even summer. We were all grumpy and irritable because we were hot and hot and stuffy inside of the house, and I guess that kind of fed into the fact that the kids were annoying each other. And of course, since they were annoying each other, that meant that they were also annoying me! The HVAC technician wasn’t set to be there for another 45 minutes, so eventually I finally just made my kids go outside. Instead of going out there and leaving me alone so I could sit in peace for a few minutes, they started going around the exterior of the house and peeking in the windows. Needless to say, I was really happy when I saw the HVAC truck pulling into the driveway just a little while later. I couldn’t wait to get the A/C fixed.
