I started my own Heating and A/C service and replacement contractor last year and the contractor has entirely taken off.
- I thought I was going to be able to labor from house for the first couple of years, despite the fact that I can’t handle all of the iphone calls.
I had to hire someone to answer the contractor calls. At first I was paying that man to labor from home, however after that I knew it was going to be necessary to have space for the Heating and A/C service and replacement business. I looked around at all of the bizarre office spaces that were available and several of them were far too overpriced for me. I did find space at one particular office building that was a good price, however it was on the outskirts of town! When I could not find anything else, I had to take the space at the office building. I signed a lease for 2 years and I paid for everything up front… For the next two years I will be able to labor out of the business. I had to hire someone bizarre to answer the contractor calls, because the original man did not want to drive to the location of the office. It would have been a 30-minute commute every day and he was used to working from home. It was not strenuous to find someone else to labor at the Heating and A/C service and replacement business. In fact, I found a truly nice guy that used to be in the contractor however is now disabled… He lives close and he knows a lot about the contractor so that will be helpful when people call.
