My friends and I had a good laugh when I told them that I wanted to buy a farm and turn it into a farmcondo.
It was odd for me to say this to my friend while we were drinking in a city bar.
But as I continued to argue, it became clear to them that I was being extremely extreme. Eventually, the joking stopped and was replaced by silence and expressions of worry. I assured them that I had sufficient knowledge of farms because of my upbringing on one. My family ran a dairy farm, but I ran away as soon as I got to college. But now I found myself longing for that uncomplicated existence. The town has some positive aspects, but it is also a place where your spirit can be drained. About two years later, I decided to take the plunge and establish myself on my rural farm. This has been a fantastic adventure, and I’ve met some wonderful people along the way, including Nash, my air conditioning expert. It was a lot of fun spending my first summer in my farmcondo. I inherited the air conditioning and heating system from the previous owner. The only thing I neglected to do was schedule maintenance with a cooling technician. My air conditioner broke down in the middle of a scorching afternoon, and I was drenched in sweat. Nash was sent to my house after I requested references for a local heating and air conditioning company. Nash and I have become fast friends since he upgraded my filthy air filter that was the root of the problem. He even checks on my condo twice a year to make sure the HVAC is in good shape.
