Imagine you happen to travel to a new state, fall in love with a specific area, and choose that as your forever home.
Sounds crary, right? Well, that’s exactly what I did late last year.
I was tired of work and my life, so I decided to travel during fall. I hadn’t taken vacation time in a while, so no one questioned when I said I’d be away for a month. I went to many different places, then I went up north to a new area. To be honest, I knew nothing about the state except its name and some crazy myths. I was so shocked when I ended up in a small and gorgeous town that I never wanted to leave. And that’s how I quit my job, and opted to turn my side hustle writing HVAC articles into my full time work. I then went back, found a small house for sale with three acres of land, and relocated. I had a condo in the city, and it sold like hot cake, plus I had good savings for the move. The house was perfect, except for needing a new heating and cooling system. It seems the previous owners had it set aside as a vacation rental with only a window AC unit. In winter, guests would use space heaters to stay warm. However, I wanted a good heating and cooling system so I went in search of a heating and cooling business in the area. I found contacts for one online and this was my first time contacting a heating and cooling business. Thankfully, the lady understood my requests and promised an HVAC tech would come to my home for a full evaluation.
