This holiday is much more bizarre than the last normal ones; first of all, it sounds as if it’s going to be much colder than last 3tmas.
And that’s saying something where we live, but our gas furnace is already pumping out the heating plus has been for nearly a month or more… But it appears the temperatures are going to bottom out soon plus be sub zero perhaps.
That makes myself and others so thrilled that I did something about preparing the house this fall! It’s not as though I’m actually prescient or anything. I did not suppose that it was going to be super cold over the holiday when we have all the family over… What I was thinking about when I got after the winter preparation was saving cash on that heating costs; this is actually something that has been overdue as I have needed to get after the winter preparations far sooner than I have. But man, am I ever thrilled I did it this year because it looks like it’s going to be a doozy. The superb thing is our house is now sealed up super narrow plus is warmer than it’s ever been. On top of that, the gas furnace isn’t running near as much as it has in the past; and actually all it took was going to an actual heating plus A/C company website plus studying how to seal our house properly. I found every gap I could find plus sealed them tight. That includes all the weather stripping around all the doors. I even added some insulation in the attic as well. I have to say that our timing was actually superb with this situation.
