I just love my office job! I have always been an active person.
Even as a child, I was super active.
I played every sport that I could, and as a teenager, I absolutely loved to workout. Because I loved being so active, I never dreamed that I would enjoy an office job. I was offered a job right out of college, and I took it just because it was a good paying job, and I didn’t know if I could get a different job right away. After working there just a couple weeks, I realized that I really enjoyed my office job. Of course, I still stayed active when I wasn’t working, but I just really liked computer work. I’ve been with this company for over fifteen years now, and it’s amazing! The only downside to my job is that the office is really chilly during the day. I don’t have a thermostat in my office, and I really have no control over the temperature in the building. It was kind of a pain because I was always so cold. Eventually, the light bulb in my head went on, and I bought a small electric heater. Even though it was really small, it made a huge difference. I actually get hot in my office sometimes. One of my co-workers came into my office and was amazed at how warm it was. I ended up convincing her to purchase an electric heater for her office as well. She did, and she absolutely loves it! It’s kind of hilarious because she ended up telling another one of our co-workers, and he bought one for his office as well. I hope the electric bill doesn’t skyrocket, but I’m so glad we are able to stay warm in our cold offices!
