I am so ready for the season of pumpkin spice to be over.
- I love pumpkin spice, but I wish that it weren’t even a thing right now.
It feels like pumpkin spice flavor seems to take over the world every fall when the weather starts cooling down and I really am over it. I don’t understand why all the people out there seem to enjoy it so much. I think that it smells terrible, however I seem to be in the minority. I suppose that a lot of people enjoy it, however I am just sick and tired of seeing it everywhere. There are candles in that scent, perfumes in that scent, as well as all kinds of other things. And then you can’t go somewhere without seeing a hundred things in that flavor either. Right now, I wish more than anything that the lovely pumpkin spice flavor would just go away for a bit. However, I suppose that it’s not going to be until the weather starts heating up again. I feel that so many people out there enjoy this flavor, but the merchandisers should absolutely just give it a break. Honestly, it’s one of those things that I wish would just disappear, however I suppose that isn’t going to happen anytime soon. The other day I called our heating, ventilation and A/C company to have them come out to repair our air purification unit for us. The heating, ventilation and A/C professional told myself and others that they could install an air filter for us with a seasonal scent built into it. I said that sounded like a fantastic idea, until the heating, ventilation and A/C professional said that the scent of the air filter was pumpkin spice!
