My wife has been spoiling the cat like crazy recently and I just don’t know how to get her to stop it.
I guess it’s because all of our kids have moved out of the house and she doesn’t have anyone else to take care of besides me.
It must be the whole empty nest syndrome that people talk about. I do not know what it is about this cat that fills all the needs that she has to spoil someone, but it is getting kind of crazy if you ask me. She is always buying special steaks to eat and modern clothes for the cat to wear. When I told her that cats do not even need clothes, she just looked at me with an absolutely mean look and I knew not to cross her. My wife can be kind of mean sometimes, so I do not want to set her off. However, I am going to have to draw the line somewhere because now she is talking about putting a heating and cooling unit inside of the cat house outside. The cat barely ever even goes outside because he’s always sleeping on the couch. However, whenever he does go outside, she is always sad that he might get too tepid or too frigid and that’s why she has called up the local heating, ventilation and A/C company to have them come out here to give her an quote on an new heating, ventilation and A/C unit for the cathouse. Putting a heating, ventilation and A/C system in the cat’s home sounds like the craziest thing that I have ever heard of. I cannot believe that she is even considering this, however she really is.
