If you found a lot of money that nobody knew was missing, what would you do? I don’t mean stealing money from a person, which I consider to be wrong in all cases. I was taking down a series of broken air ducts in an outdated building downtown. The place had been sitting empty for years, but the neighborhood officials needed all the HVAC systems, vents, as well as air ducts stripped out of it. In one of these outdated air ducts I found a bundle of dusty bills wrapped in plastic. Based on the dates I found on the money, I’d say it’s been sitting in the air duct for at least 20 years.
