I was looking at my window at the window air conditioning system sitting in my window earlier and I noticed something on it. I noticed that it was starting to look more dirty and I decided that I think it was time to clean it. So I turned it off and unplugged it and took it out of the window. Sure enough there was lint and dust and all kinds of things stuck on the inside of it commented that on the outside I had the markings of dirt on it. This is what happens when you leave your window air conditioning system in the window for almost a year straight. I don’t really use my central AC system and I only use my window air conditioning system and so because of this I have my window air conditioning system running almost 24/7. As you can imagine this can cause my window air conditioning system to get quite dirty and it makes it where it needs to be cleaned. When I took it out of the window I brought it to the table when I went and took a damp cloth and started wiping down the outside, then I opened the entire unit up and I took a can of air spray and started spraying all the dust and dirt out of the inside. I wasn’t even done cleaning it yet and it was already working so much better. After I had been blown out of the dust and dirt from the inside I even took a very lightly damp cloth and wiped down the inside of the window air conditioning system. I’ve thoroughly dried it and I left it out to dry for a little longer. Once I was finished I put it back in the window and let it continue to resume his job of keeping my home cool.
