When it’s hot outside, nothing feels better than a cool breeze.
Even though it can get very hot where I live, that doesn’t mean that it won’t be hard to deal with in the summer.
I know that some people are lucky enough to live in places where it doesn’t get too hot, but I’m not one of them. I live in a hot place, so I have to constantly adjust my body temperature. Because it gets so hot here, I have to keep an eye on my air conditioning costs, which can quickly rise to a high level. We are now in the summer and I’ve been using my air conditioner a lot because it’s been hotter than usual. But I guess you could say I’m lucky that my neighborhood isn’t as hot as some others. I know that in the summer, temperatures in some desert areas can easily reach over 100 degrees, which I find crazy! Even though it’s not that hot outside, the temperature inside is still between 90 to 95 degrees, which is too hot for me. I’d rather have to worry about turning on my heaters than my air conditioner. So I’m thinking more and more about moving to a cooler state. I moved to a warm state because I thought that was what I wanted. I know now I’m starting to see that I was wrong and didn’t expect it to be this hot. I’m grateful for modern technology that allows me to regulate the temperature in my home, but I’m also mindful of the impact it has on the environment and try to use it responsibly.
