If he is on time, there’s something wrong with the HVAC equipment and it takes forever to get fixed
I don’t know how people get things done around their home. I work Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. This is the standard timeframe that most businesses are open as well, which makes it difficult for me to schedule anything. If I want to go to the dentist, I have to take a long lunch break or take a half day. If I want to have my car serviced, I have to take another half day or fight the crowds on a Saturday. One of my biggest struggles though, is having my HVAC system serviced twice per year. Not only am I not home during normal business hours, but all the HVAC companies around here are closed on the weekends. The last HVAC appointment is typically at 4, and the HVAC technicians are off the clock by 5. To make things worse, I have to be at home to let the HVAC technician in every time. I’ve called every HVAC company that is willing to service my house, but they all refuse to come if I’m not at home. Most of the time, HVAC appointments only last an hour or two, but they’re so unreliable, which makes it difficult for me to schedule around it. I can’t run home for a long lunch to meet the HVAC technician because he’s never on time. If he is on time, there’s something wrong with the HVAC equipment and it takes forever to get fixed. I wish I knew how other homeowners scheduled in their HVAC services, because I hate using my personal days.
