My neighbors were getting their annual heater maintenance which reminded me that I needed an HVAC professional to check on my heating device too.
I could see the van used by the heating business on their driveway, so I was sure they had a heating technician in their home.
I’d only stayed in the house for five months, but we hadn’t had a chance to interact since they were primarily out of town for work. I took the opportunity but met the HVAC serviceman before I could knock on their door. I greeted him and asked if they were taking more customers. Once the heating expert was done with servicing, I got the chance to ask about installation and purchase costs, but he told me we could go over and see my heating unit for him to make sound recommendations. We did the inspection, and a month later, we bought equipment from the local HVAC supplier, which the heating business expert and his team installed within three days.
