Thursday was my last day of work for the weekend.
I was really excited to leave on Friday for a week of vacation. I was going to the beach to hang out with some of my friends. When I got home from work on Thursday night, there was a problem with my air conditioner and it was not working properly. I called the maintenance supervisor as soon as I got home. The first thing that he said to me was a comment about changing the air filter frequently. I told the guy that I was changing the air filter every month. The maintenance guy knew that I had to leave for a flight at 2:00 in the afternoon and he promised to get the air conditioner fixed first thing in the morning on friday. I thought that first thing in the morning would mean 8:00 or 9:00 but the guy did not arrive until almost noon and by then I was getting ready to leave for the airport. I was really aggravated and annoyed because I wanted to be there when the air conditioner was fixed. I wanted to make sure that the machine was working before I left for a week. The maintenance guy called me when the air conditioner was fixed and he even took a picture of my locked door. I guess that was the best that I could hope to get from the guy. He was late, but he did his best to make sure that I was happy with the air conditioner service that I received.
