I hired a realtor to help me get an apartment with my desired specifications.
It took him about three weeks before he got several apartments to show me. I left work early that day to join the realtor. The first apartment looked beautiful and airy, but the rooms were tinier than I wanted. The second house appealed to me for a few reasons. It was close to my workplace, spacious, and, best of all, it had an air purification system integrated with the already installed HVAC unit. Having worked as an HVAC professional for many years, I understand the importance of an air quality system besides the obvious, which is increasing indoor air quality. I looked at the air filters; they had just been installed because they were clean and almost new. The unit was in good condition, and I was sure it would help with indoor comfort for a while. Everything about the house made me happy, but I wanted to give the other place a chance. The last place the realtor showed me was okay, though the second one was better. It did have an HVAC system with well-fitted ductwork that had recently been installed, as it did not need any duct cleaning anytime soon. I ended up settling for the second one. I moved in the following week and had my colleagues, the HVAC technicians, and the local contractors from the HVAC company come for a housewarming party. Like me, they were also impressed by the presence of the air cleaning system. We had recently started installing many such systems during most of our home service and HVAC maintenance jobs.
