I played ball last night but my mind was really not into it after finding out my job will be gone soon.
It is amazing how your thoughts can affect your play in sports but they really are powerful.
If you are filled with doubt and worry it reflects in your playing style, especially with a sport like beach volleyball where there are only two of you on the team. I noticed I couldn’t pass the ball well yesterday and I ended up losing almost all of my games in the process. So today I am regrouping and doing HVAC repairs to take my mind off my worries while I work for the local contractor in town. It wouldn’t be a big deal if I had not blown the $100K my dad gave me a year ago and put it in the bank like my mom told me to do. This HVAC repair work money pops gave me was a great gift and I just threw it away investing in a local business that was soon to go under. I think accepting this is going to take some time but I guess I will learn from it and move on. I used to work for my HVAC pro dad back in the day doing a/c system installs but I went on my own years later and became a local business owner. When that wasn’t doing it for me I closed the doors and became a comedian doing shows all around the world. Anyways, time to clean my a/c filter and go for a swim.
